The process of obtaining a cruise ship job involves many steps which KOC will guide you through:

  • Step 1

    Pre-Screen Interview

    Your CV will be reviewed to ensure you meet the minimum requirements. If you do, then you will interview with a recruiter. At this time, you will be told if you have been short-listed for the final interview or not. If you were not selected, the recruiter will give you guidance on the actions needed

  • Step 2

    Technical Interview

    If required the recruiter will invite the candidate for a round of technical interviews for the particular position applied.

  • Step 3

    Final Interview

    For short-listed candidates, our client's recruiter will interview you. You will be informed within the next few days in regards to your selection status. Usually, recruiters inform you immediately after the interview, however, according to the numbers they require for a certain position, they may want to make their decision after interviewing all candidates.

  • Step 4


    The selected crew will be asked to bring in a list of items to the Kamaxi Offices in order to start processing and preparations to join the ship.

  • Step 5


    The cruise line's scheduling team will contact Kamaxi when there is a need for the selected and processed crew. Kamaxi's Crew Administrators will contact you to make final arrangements.

  • Step 6

    Travel / Onboarding

    An orientation of what to expect during travels and onboard in your new position will be given in order to prepare you for your new career!
